The problem is, someone’s gone and stolen B.O.B., putting the Literary World at risk of extinction as its pages slowly fade into nothingness. That’s where you come in — you and your team of historical and literary heroes who venture forth to save the world.
Like Codename S.T.E.A.M. before it, Bookbound Brigade lets you control a varied cast of literary and historical notables, ranging from Count Dracula and Queen Victoria to The Wizard of Oz’s Dorothy Gale and more. Each hero has a unique set of abilities that helps you explore the five vast, hand-drawn worlds against the backdrop of a fully orchestrated soundtrack.
There are over 50 NPCs to interact with as well, offering sidequests that grant upgrades and new abilities that help you uncover all the secrets, lost items, and clues needed to find B.O.B. again.
Literary figures and literature, in general, are pretty underused in video games, so Bookbound Brigade is one we’ll be keeping an eye on. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more Bookbound Brigade news as it comes off the shelf.
