Samsung today announced that its payment service, Samsung Pay, is off to a successful start in South Korea where it managed to process transactions of more than $30 million in just a month. The company notes that a total of 1.5 million transactions have occurred through Samsung Pay in this period, with over 60 percent of them taking place on the Galaxy Note5. Considering that Samsung Pay is only available on a handful of high-end Samsung devices, it is quite impressive that the payment service has already manage to process more than $30 million in transaction. Samsung Pay is scheduled to launch in the United States from September 28. Samsung also reveals that it is working on brining its payment service to the United Kingdom, Spain, and China soon.
