At the beginning of April, Samsung officially introduced a new series of Galaxy Tab devices to the world. The Galaxy Tab 4 lineup consists of a 7-, 8- and 10.1-inch variant, and since the announcement they have been making their way out into the world. Verizon has already launched the 8-inch variant, and now it’s time to add another tablet to the carrier’s mix. Announced on July 24, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is now available from Verizon Wireless, but only if you purchase online. The official statement notes that the tablet will land in brick-and-mortar stores in the coming weeks. Until then, you can pick up the new Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 for $359.99 with a new, two-year contract (for a limited time, apparently). If you opt to go without the contract and want to just buy it outright, that’ll run you $459.99. Verizon’s monthly installment plan, Verizon Edge, is also an option, and that will run you $22.99 per month, for 20 months. As far as specs go, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features that 10.1-inch display, with a resolution of 1280×800, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz under the hood, and 1.5GB of RAM. There’s a 3.15-megapixel camera on the back, and a 1.3MP camera on the front. It has 16GB of built-in storage, and you can include a microSD card up to 64GB for extra storage. The battery is measured at 6800mAh. It’s running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and you’ll be able to connect to Verizon’s LTE and XLTE network. Is this your next tablet?
