Up until now, we have heard contradictory rumors regarding the screen sizes of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge. Benchmark listings have revealed that the Galaxy S7 will come with a 5.1-inch Quad HD display, bit it has remained unclear if the Galaxy S7 edge will come with a 5.1-inch or a 5.5-inch curved display.

Now, according to import listings on Zauba, the Galaxy S7 will sport a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S7 edge will feature a 5.5-inch edge display. Last year, Samsung had released the ‘edge’ variant of the Galaxy S6 with a 5.1-inch Quad HD curved display and had then gone on to launch the Galaxy S6 edge+ with a 5.7-inch curved screen a few months down the line. However, this time around, it looks like the company plans on only launching one edge variant of its flagship Galaxy S7 handset that will come with a 5.5-inch curved screen. While there have been rumors about Samsung working on a 5.7-inch edge variant of the Galaxy S7 as well, the size difference between a 5.5-inch and a 5.7-inch display is so little that it makes no sense for Samsung to launch a third variant of the handset with a 5.7-inch display. As per previous leaks, the Galaxy S7 will feature an Exynos 8890/Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 12MP rear shooter and a 5MP selfie shooter. The handset is expected to be unveiled by Samsung at the Mobile World Congress next month.
