The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 sports a glass exterior with a metal unibody chassis. The main highlighting feature of the phablet, however, is its huge Infinity Super AMOLED display. It’s a 6.3-inch Quad HD (2,960 x 1,440p) panel with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 8 features an Exynos 8895 Octa octa core processor with 6GB RAM. According to a new report by Strategy Analytics, the worldwide smartwatch market during the first quarter of 2014 equated to 700.000 units, of which Samsung sold about 500.000, giving the Korean company a great lead over any of its competitors with a 71% marketshare. Those numbers are a significant increase over the company’s performance in the previous year in the smartwatch sector, where it sold 1M units overall, with a marketshare of 52%....

Hot on the the heels of Apple announcing a partnership with UnionPay in China to launch Apple Pay in the country early next year, Samsung has also gone ahead and announced its partnership with the bankcard association. Like Apple, Samsung will now also be launching its mobile payment service, Samsung Pay, in China in early 2016. The partnership will allow owners of Samsung Pay compatible devices and UnionPay users to pay at QuickPass supported point-of-sale terminals through their smartphone using Samsung Pay....

Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2nd, but the device seems to be already up for pre-order in Dubai. As per the tip sent to SamMobile, interested customers can pre-order the Galaxy Note 7 in Dubai by paying AED 500 ($135).
