Although it came from before, when the Huawei P9 mounted a Dual camera a couple of years ago, the Chinese brand played the type with a design that ended up liking and also setting a precedent. A year later, the range stops seen in 2017 as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or iPhone X have included. But in the Chinese market, the double sensor has become so common that many mid-range are included, although it is still a luxury element for the economic or entry range....

Earlier today, Samsung sent out invites for the global launch of the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2nd. However that has not stopped the phone from being leaked online. Today’s leak consists of a barrage of (poor quality) photos of what looks like a working prototype of the handset. The leak does not really reveal anything that we have not already seen in the previous leaked photos from earlier this week....

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note in late-August but that has not stopped the company from talking about it. During its earnings call earlier this week, a company’s executive talked about the Note 8 and what to expect from it. The executive said that the Galaxy Note series, which first debuted in 2011, has always been about its multimedia features, large display, and S-Pen. With the Galaxy Note 8, the company will push the bar further in this regard as the device will feature even better multimedia functionalities....

One of the best indications that a new product is around the corner, is the removal of an older device in the same family line. It’s possible that’s what’s happening here, as it has been discovered that Samsung (or Google) has removed the Gear Live, the latest Samsung-branded smartwatch, from the Google Store. The Gear Live was a paramount device for Samsung in many ways, but for many fans of Android Wear it was the company’s abandonment of its own Tizen-based operating system for Google’s option that convinced some to buy it....

When Samsung opened an R&D center here in Finland, right next to Nokia’s offices no less, people knew the Korean electronics giant wanted to soak up any and all of the locally available talent. Now it’s time for Canada to get a big old giant hug from Samsung. According to a Samsung Electronics’ press release, the company’s new R&D office will be focused on “enterprise security solutions, while also providing global technical support for the company’s diverse B2B customers....

The company confirmed the hardware change to The Verge, which is designed to fix the issue where inserting the S n backwards could get the pen stuck. The force required to dislodge the pen usually then breaks the clicking mechanism. A Samsung representative told the site, “Samsung can confirm that the Note 5 internal S n mechanism has been changed to avoid the issue caused by inserting the S n incorrectly....

Rumors regarding Samsung’s Galaxy S6 have begun to pick up, which makes sense considering the release date of the handset is more than likely coming up. The SEC report [pdf] found that during consecutive quarters in Nvidia’s 2018 fiscal year – as crypto prices boomed and a global chip shortage took hold – the company failed to disclose that its GPUs were increasingly being used for cryptomining and that this was a significant element of its material revenue growth. “Nvidia’s senior management internally expressed a desire to capture the cryptomining demand, and at the same time shelter its gaming business from cryptominers and protect supply of GPUs for gamers,” said the SEC report....

On August 13, as expected, Samsung officially unveiled the next iteration of its Galaxy Note phablet lineup, with the Galaxy Note 5. Samsung’s Satellite Communication Feature Is Rumored To Be More Advanced According to a report from ETNews, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will get a Satellite Connectivity system as Apple launched for iPhone 14, but Samsung’s feature is rumored to be more advanced than Apple’s current feature....

While the Galaxy S4 GPe is yet to receive the update, the kernel sources and the official announcement from Google means that the update should be available within a few hours. If you own a Galaxy S4 GPe, it is time to start hammering that ‘Check Now’ button for some KitKat goodness.

What have we here? Oh look, it’s the Galaxy S4 LTE-Advanced edition. The photos above and below, and plenty more like them, have just been posted to Samsung Korea’s corporate blog on the social networking site Naver. The company confirms the device has a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 2 GB of RAM, and pretty much the same set of specifications as the Galaxy S4 that’s currently out on the market....

Get this: Samsung launched an application earlier this week called “My Galaxy” that helps you find accessories for your phone, shows you movies and concerts that are around you, teaches you how to use your phone properly, and according to >Android Central, it’s even pretty. It works on the S2, S3, S4, the first and second Note, and even the S3 mini. There’s just one problem: It’s UK only....

Samsung didn’t specify the processor name during our pre-briefing (we’ll update this article when we get details), but it did mention that this is a 64-bit, 14nm system-on-a-chip....
